Program 2013

Nordic Game Jam has always been a fun-packed experienced, and 2013 is not going to be an exception.

So what can you expect during the weekend of  January 18-20th?

Thursday 17th

You don’t have to wait until Friday to join us! The Copenhagen Game Collective will be hosting an awesome pre-jam party in the same venue where the jam will be taking place. So hop aboard Thursday night and start meeting fellow jammers, enjoy the music and have a few beers. Check the Facebook event for more information! There will also be a screening of the 48 Hour Games documentary by Suvi Andrea Helminen.

19:00 – 24:00: Nordic Game Jam Pre-party hosted by Copenhagen Game Collective

Friday 18th

We start off with the talks, keynote and the actual game jam! Here’s the full schedule:

15:30 – 17:00: Indie Showcase – Various Nordic indie games, prototypes, and jam games.
17:00 – 17:30: Take a break or take over the mic to present your own games!
17:30 – 18:00: Life’s a pitch: how to make a board game – and sell it, Martin Neergaard Andersen, Camp Games

17:30 – 18:30: Grab something to eat. There will be plenty of food.

18:30 – 19:30: How to be a hot indie and make cool shit! – Dennaton (Hotline Miami) and Vlambeer (Super Crate Box)

19:30 – 20:00:  Introduction, theme, and so on.
20:00 – 20.10:  MovieStarPlanet competition announcement – Claus Lykke
20:10 : Group forming and the jamming begins

Saturday 19th

Rise and shine early in the morning to keep jaming! And of course take a break and get some food every once in a while, get some coffee or go relax and enjoy at the sauna.

24:00’ish Late night snack

Sunday 20th

Get the final touches for your game ready, have lunch and… send your game in! The deadline for submitting your team’s game is 14:00 Sunday 20th.

14:00: Hand-in
15:00: Presentations start
18:00 – 19:00 Sandwiches
Award Ceremony ending at latest 21:30 and the bar opens afterwards.
