We’re already halfway through October and that means the Nordic Game Jam organizers team has once again got together to start planning the Nordic Game Jam 2013!
Why so early? Well, an event as big and important such as this does not prepare itself in just a couple of weeks and we want to make sure that things run smooth and better than ever. And what better way to begin than with two big announcements?
First of all we are ready to announce the official dates for Nordic Game Jam 2013. So open your calendars and mark down the date, because from January 18th to the 20th we will once again start jamming. We will soon announce the ticket sales so don’t forget to check our blog often and follow us on Facebook and Twitter if you want to be among the first to buy the tickets!
But that’s not all we have to say today. Do you remember those cameras going around the IT University of Copenhagen during the last two Nordic game jams? Well, now we are happy to announce that director Suvi Andrea Helminen will be premiering her documentary 48 hour games at the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival. If you have never been to the Nordic Game Jam before and you’re wondering what this is all about then this documentary will show you how over 300 developers got together to make games under the strict time constraint. Not only that, the documentary is interactive, so you decide who you want to follow. So this Saturday November 10th join us at Teater Grob for the premiere!
